Biblical Counseling Online Webinar

We felt a bit discouraged because we had to postpone our large sports festival, but God has allowed us to plan many other ministries to encourage believers around Japan and give the gospel to thousands of people around the country through the new CoVID 19 gospel flyer.

June 26-27 OIC Japan Summer Webinar 
462 People Registered!!

It was truly God’s work to see 462 people register for the OIC Japan Summer Webinar. Most of them were pastors and missionaries from all over Japan. OIC and I have vision to see Biblical Counselors trained in every church in Japan. 

Dr. Joe and I were the main organizers for this webinar. It was a privilege to be responsible for the communication with the speakers of the webinar and all the participants. I probably sent out over 2,000 emails every week for about one month before the webinar. 

The most difficult part was the IT to make this webinar possible. We provided two channels so people can listen in English or Japanese. 70% of the people listened to the Japanese interpretation.

As you can see from the pictures, there were at least 6 people controlling the different electronic devices to make this Zoom Meeting possible. We had to use 6 laptop computers and 4 Zoom accounts. It is so complicated that I am not able to explain it in this short update.
