We were so happy to have Junko Cheng join us for this year’s Vacation Bible School. We had a 30 minute mini concert, and the children enjoyed dancing to her music.
We usually have about 60 children at our Vacation Bible School, but we limited it this year because of Covid. We had the VBS both at church and online, but the children enjoyed it so much.
I have a bi-monthly meeting with all the Children’s Sunday School leaders and volunteers. We are making plans to welcome the children back in our church to have Children’s Sunday School again since most activities in Japan are back to normal.
We will also continue to have online meetings since we have some parents who are still concerned about Covid. Many families in Japan have elderly grandparents live with them, so we need to be understanding and accommodating to everyone.
